After breakfast at the hotel, undertake an excursion to the Eravikulam National Park and Anamudi Peak. The park, spread over an area of 97 sq. km, is home to various rare species like the Nilgiri Tahr, colloquially known as the Mountain Goat. It is possibly the only destination in the world that has an endemic plant Neelakurinji, which blooms only once in 12 years. Another best part of this park is the Anamudi Peak, which rises to a height of over 2700 m. It would be really interesting for tourists to trek up to this highest peak in South India. After an insightful visit to the national park, visit the breathtaking Nyayamakadu Waterfalls. Its milky white water waterfalls down from a height of 1600 m and gives a mesmerizing effect. Surrounded by lush flora, this site serves as the perfect picnic and trekking spot. Tourists may also indulge in angling at Gravel Banks and a trout fishing site in a remote corner of the Nyayamakadu Estate. After this exciting tour, proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Thekkady is the location of the Periyar National Park, which is an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India. The remarkable artificial lake formed by the Mullapperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. The main attractions of Periyar are the herds of wild elephants, deer and bison that come down to drink in the lake. The sanctuary can be accessed through a trekking, boating / jeep safari. After relishing your morning meal at the hotel, embark on a road journey to Kumarakom. Kumarakom, situated 13 Kms away from Kottayam is a sleepy little village on Vembanadu Lake in Kerala.
